My name is Carissa. I moved to Shelbyville with my husband David in 2016.
Salt & Light Creations has been a blessing and has brought me a lot of joy to be able to share my love of crafting with the community I live in and love being a part of.
I offer hand-poured, small batch, soy wax candles (the wax is manufactured in Louisville) that burn clean. The dough bowl candles can be repurposed after burning to avoid ending up in the landfill to preserve our planet.
Soaping has become a passion of mine. I offer natural, cold process soap using organic ingredients to create beautiful bars that don't have harsh chemicals in them.
I am looking to continue to improve and expand my product line to bring the highest quality products to my customers at affordable pricing!
Sugar Spell Bakery, LLC
As soon-to-be husband and wife, we work as a team and are passionate about people and their experiences. After losing our jobs in October 2023, we decided to take Erin’s 9years of baking experience and Devin’s operations knowledge to form Sugar Spell. Our creative process is simple: Listen to our customers to craft treats that help to bring the “magic” to their special moments.
